    See the 2 connectors ?

They are not the same connectors available on the R1. So you cannot physically install the RGB onto the first one

    lol moo.

I wish led was avail for the r1 but I'm not a screen hog. And sincei haven't experience led before I think it's safe for me not to so I'm not dying about it. Lol.

thanks moo. I just have to save up forr a blu ray drive then.

Take the picture again with the camera set to the setting that looks like a flower.

No disrespect, it just bugs me how often I see out of focus closeups of finely detailed hardware on the net.

Do you have any pictures of the LCD screen side by side with the RBG screen so we can see the difference..other than maybe brighter..how's the contrast and side views of the RBG...LED..???? Just wondering if it's even worth the R2...model just for the screen..

if it's just regular LED, your not missing out on much. the RGB i have no experience so i don't know what you and i are missing out on. i'm guessing it can't be much better than the LED samsung HDTVs.

There's no bleed on my RGB LED. The quality blows away anything else on the market, it's that good.

The two connectors on the R2 is exactly the same as the ones on the R1. The only diference I see here is that the New Mobo has a slot right below the slot of the big connector, which is not being used.

R1 Owners still have a chance to test to see if RGB LED Screen will work.

I think the big slot there is for the CCFL, and the little one for the RGB :(

is that what you were trying to say Moo?

    Scook,

The little one are not being used. It's the Top left and the Top Right of the two connector. The R2 is still using both of the same connector as the R1.

The little connector is not being occupied.

I know so because I just took my R2 apart.

I over heard that due to the ATI cards...your screen will look much better than those with Nvidia? Is that true...if so...won't that make the RBG even better..compared to the LCD one on the R1...say if someone can compare...R1 LCD ATI 4870 vs R2 RBG ATI 4870's of course...in dark room...pls...!!!!!!!!!! anyone???
