When I boot up into my 32bit hdd that came with this comp, it shows a drive F: which is NV Cache. And a ballon by the clock says that I need to do something about it, I go into Computer, there it is, all full with a nice red bar, so is there something i do with this? or is it nothing.
PS I know that it has something to do with the turbo mem.

Despite this being a forum, I do agree with whizzo.
It's never a bad idea to do a search first, of both the forums you are thinking of posting on and a search engine such as google, as you may find that you can solve the problem in far less time than you may have to spend waiting for an answer (and this is regardless of the forum, this is not some stab at these forums, so no worries there).
Also, you might learn to become a bit more self-sufficient.
There will always be posts on these forums, so posting just for the sake of it, to have another thread here, isn't necessary.
And just to stay on topic - the first result of whizzo's link, seems to have the answer you're looking for steveninspokane -

haha, thanks whizzo, i found the answers I was looking for... not!
I did a search already, found a few things that helped me none, that is why I figured you guys here that have the same laptop I have, that have turbo memory installed, have seen what I am talking about, and could let me know if it is normal, or if it is something that requires maintenance. -
Hey steven,
I had the same issue way back on my m15x and couldn't find any help either. I'm not sure exactly what I did to fix it but I have a general idea so bear with me here as I try to explain what I remember doing.
1. Go to start- all programs - intel turbo memory - intel turbo memory console.
2. You should see a left box with "intel turbo memory controller" and under it "intel flash cache logic chip".
3. Select the memory controller on the left, and on the right make sure that the boxes for "Enable Windows ReadyBoost" and "Enable Windows ReadyDrive" are both checked.
4. Select the cache logic chip on the left and repeat the process of step 3 with the check-boxes.
5. You may have to restart after this.
I know I messed around with the settings a bunch until it worked so if they are both already checked or checking them doesn't fix it after a restart try unchecking all the boxes and restarting, then checking them again and restarting.
Hope this helps----

I think I've answered this question for someone earlier here (you're going to have to scroll down a tad) though I didn't get any follow-up on whether it worked or not.
It's essentially the same as what rifle_shot suggested but try it anyway.
