I am torn right now and need help!!!

I am looking to by a M15x but has some questions and concerns. I plan on gaming with it. so for $1500 I want to make sure I get what I want and not regret it in a few short weeks.

    1. Is native res 1600x900 good enough for the gtx260m or should I go for 1920x1080? I been reading that 1600x900 is not hugely supported that much anymore since FHD is mainstream now.

    2. I am reluctant to buy the AW because of the 260m since I was hoping the ATI 5000 series (5870, 5770) would be in the mix. Any news on a refresh?

    3. If I do buy the system with a gtx260m, can it be replaced later on (upgraded)?

Anything right now is a big upgrade for me laptop wise. I have a XPS1530 (1680X1050 res) and is about to hit 2 years old. Desktop wise, I am sitting sweet with what I built.

The 1600 x 900 screen is absolutely gorgeous and definitely good enough for gaming. According to some members here, it's even better for gaming than the full HD (higher frame-rates, I think).
About the ATI cards, a new BIOS came out today (A05) which suggests that it is ready for those cards, so a refresh might be in the make.
You can upgrade your card in a later stage, however it will be a lot more than expensive than buying a machine with the upgrade in it. So maybe it would be better to sell your machine and buy the upgraded version.

So the video modules are swappable?
