I just received my laptop back(3rd time now) and Im back to checking for downclocking again to see for myself that everything is operating ok but now for some reasons my core clock speeds and gpu speeds are reading less then 1/2 of previuos speeds.

If anyone can please help me get this program working like it was before, it would be greatly appreciated.

Heres some old and new graphs to see whats happening.

New one is on top, Old on bottom.

It seems you are using your GPU at power saving mode. Go to Alien control centre, go to the power profiles and select the one you are using (e.g. balanced) and check what you have on the GPU settings. You should have max performance. More, if you are using it unplugged, the GPU will downclock itself to those values.

I went to The control page and made sure to check High performance but nothing changed. I then went to make sure all connections are tight from plug to computer. Hell i even turned off eveything else in the room. No change from the above graphs though.

    Still need help :/

My computer had the CPU power to balanced or something even under the High Performance setting.

So go to the commnand center, select the high performance option -> advanced settings and check to make sure each of the options in there are as high as possible.

Justwent and rechecked everything and found nothing wrong with the settings, but tuner is still showing "lo power/ stealth" mode.

Really hope this is something simple.

The values in your first screenshot are the same as the ones I get when I turn stealth mode on - have you turned your computer off and then on?

With my 8800 I only get 500 as the Core Clock/ ROP Domain and 1250 shader domain, less than you have in you second screenshot - strange :O.

Are you in high performance mode?? And hit the stealth mode touch button until the icon that comes up is transparent. This means that you are out of stealth mode.

The clocks you have are exactly the same I have when my laptop is running on batteries or stealth mode.

Did you manage to get it out of stealth mode? (or powersaver mode or whatever mode you seem to be stuck at)
Maybe you have the same problem as MrDJ. He was experiencing very low 3Dmark06 scores and it turns out it was a burnt motherboard.

Sounds like the exact problem Im having currently. ALso my 3d mark scroes are pretty low ~3200 ish. Really not sure how to fix this without a trip back to the repair facility again. The service call was very long and did not fix this problem. Currently its a very expensive paperweight atm. This will be my 4th time back to repair facility in the past 2 months. Im already on my 3rd motherboard as it is.://

I really love this laptop just the repair facility has probably played more games on it then I have now.

That might be it... :( He also had that scores on 3dmark.
Sorry to hear that... I hope mine won't end up like that. It would drive me insane...
Right now it's working all fine and properly.

Why do you guys think this happens? (the motherboard ending up damaged)

When I sent my laptop back in for the second time, I didnt realize that my motherboard was cooked. The reason it was sent back in bacause the new bios did not fix the downclocking of the gpu.

I wont go into the details but when I received my laptop back for the second time is was being sent back to the repair facility for a new motherboard in less then 12 hours.

WHy im I saying this, well I just have a feeling that this new motherboard is cooked also.
