    Hey guys,

I finally got my m15x today and been busy bringing it up to speed...except for one issue.

For some reason I can't get it to display on my new Dell 24" monitor via HDMI. Is there something I'm overlooking or is this another defect...

    And info is appreciated!

Did you plug in the HDMI with the M15X powered off? Plug it in with the power off, then start the computer.

you should also be able to get it to switch from internal to external to both by using Fn+F6 (labelled HDMI/LCD) which should do the switching on the hardware side and the OS will just see a different monitor has been connected (through the information pins on the display connector)

you should also be able to setup dual-display solutions/cloneview through the nvidia control panel (and the Intel one too... independantly though)... to enable the other display. windows also has the option, if it detects the monitor. do this by right clicking on the desktop, click personalization, select display settings, click the screen labelled "2" and select "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor".

there's a number of ways to do it, not every way will work, but most of them should.

    I hope that helps!
