I put in the system recovery and it reinstalled windows for me after i formatted because of a virus I had...

Now I thought that the support cd would have all the drivers i need, but apparently its a blank disk. My question is do you guys know where i can download 1 big file to put into this cd which has all the drivers i need or do i have to check one by one and see what i need to put on it... please help

sometimes i really do not understand people at all... if you spend so much money on something, do you not first try to find out at least something about the product? read reviews? read the opinions of those who already own the product? visit forums like NBR? sheesh...

Someone make an ISO of their drivers CD for this poor kid...
Use Imgburn to dump an image of the disc, upload to www.megaupload.com
    post the link here

    Also, I agree with whizzo

No offense but it sounds like a decent portion of the problem is coming from the user. It didn't ship with a virus, did it?

Its I am downloading them one by one and will burn them to a disk. Hey for the price I paid it would have been nice if Alienware would include a free year of virus protection lol..

Avira and AVG are two very well respected and FREE anti-virus programs. McAfee and Norton are crap... stay away.
If you're paying, get ESET NOD32 or BitDefender... sadly Kaspersky is moving into the suck category with Norton.

The only drivers really worth updating IMO are Video and Chipset. So get the intel INF from Intel's website, get video drivers from Laptopvideo2go, and get the rest from AW.

well, the newest ones, obviously, no? i'd go the producers' sites (e.g. intel for wifi card, realtek for sound, synaptic for touchpad, etc) and get the newest driver you can find for the part you have.

The best way to go about restoring drivers is to visit the MyHive page:

    http://support.alienware.com/Support_Pages/Support_Area.aspx

If your Master CD is empty or defective, you can always call our Customer Service or Technical Support team to request a new one. If you don't want to go this route, you can always download the files individually and burn them to a CD.

Make sure you install the drivers in the correct order. For more information, please refer to this:
    http://4help.alienware.com/cgi-bin/alienware.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=465&p_created=1069467184&p_sid=eF1Uz1ej&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MzUxLDM1MSZwX3Byb2RzPSZwX2NhdHM9MCZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX2ZubCZwX3NjZl82PTIwNSZwX3BhZ2U9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90ZXh0PWRyaXZlcg**&p_li=&p_topview=1

The integrated graphics is your built-in graphics card that you have on your motherboard. You can switch to it with FN + F7 after you have installed the OSD drivers. Switching to it saves your battery power, since it uses less energy than your dedicated graphics card.

Once you have switched over to the integrated graphics card, you can install the drivers for it from here:

I know how you feel. When I had to reformat my desktop for the first time, I felt overwhelmed too, and hopeless. But, you will do fine. Or you can call up Roswell and have them do it with you over phone. They would be glad to help! :)

    PXE-MOF Exiting Broadcom PXEROM

im not sure what this means but either way it gets into windows..

That is your Network Card trying to boot from Network. Go to BIOS and change the Boot Order, even if you have HDD as your first device change it to second , save then again change it to first, save, reboot

If that does not work then try to remove your battery from running machine, while it is on failure screen.

I can tell you once I reach home, do you see any "load defaults" or "load fail safe defaults" option in BIOS ? If you do then select it and it will reset everything
