    OK so I have a m17x r2 with a Intel 920xm and duel 7970m in Cf with a modded 330 power supply. My problem is I feel like I have run out of things to do with it. I love it and it's a beauty. It's sad there will never be machines like it again. What I want to know is what would people do. Sale it and get a different laptop? If so what? Try and find a m18x r2 to play with? I don't need anything portable anymore so build a true desktop? I wish it could be upgradeable forever but sadly it doesn't work that way

    I saw all that trouble earlier that's rough. From my quick read through it really seems more like a nivea driver f*ck up not that it matters.

    Don't know if the wife will suffer through me dropping I don't know how many thousands it takes to make a tower guess it's time to start pricing parts.

    Anyone have suggested desktop builds?

    If I had the money I would be going for 5960X and 980 Ti 3x or 4x SLI with phase-change cooling.

    You and me both. Thing is I'd rather not give my wife another reason to kill me . But I guess if I did it slow enough she might not notice the missing 5g's
