    Hey guys,

I was wondering if someone could help me with a dilemma.
I want to buy the M17 but have to choose between eighter de best processor or better graphix card (4870 or 280 ?)

    Which would you guys choose?
I would prefer 280 SLI or 4870 crossfire (which would you reckon would be better , since the 4870 are cheaper on the belgian dell website)
and go with the Q9000 processor... but I intend to use this pc to do some serious 3D work (3DMAX) and some competitive gaming (COD4 and BadCompany 2 when it comes out)

    Any help is appreciated :)
    Thanks in advance,
    Zeltix

Be careful, the M17 is a different laptop to the M17x. You're looking at the M17x.

4870 crossfire is more powerful than the 280M SLI, however 260M SLI is good enough for most people. If you have the money then 4870s are worth it.

3D work will do very well on the quad core, especially if you overclock it as can be done on the M17x. It will also do well in the vast majority of games.
