I own an older version of the m17x, the one right before Alienware sold out to Dell, and I originally had Vista 32 bit, but upgraded to 64 bit for more RAM, and I had a really hard time getting the command center/keyboard to work. My hard drive recently failed, I had to buy a new one, and now I'm still on Vista 64 bit. I am locked out of the MyHive support area, and I'm not sent a new password when I select "forgot my password", so I can't download it from there. I can't seem to find a command center version that works with my older m17x anywhere on the tubes of the internet; all I see is the m17xr1 or m17xr2 versions. I have looked everywhere and still can't find the stupid command center that will work. Can anyone link me to the most recent command center for Vista 64 bit on the older m17x?

Specs: X9000 processor, dual 9800 GT's, 8 gigs ram, 2 x 300gb HD, will find anything else out if needed for whatever reasons.

Thanks in advance, I've always turned to these forums for help before, but never bothered to register, and now that I have an issue, I know someone in this forum will know how to help. :D

I always liked the older M17X, I am sure someone will eventually give you a link to download it. By the way you still have a great laptop that is still pretty powerful. God Bless :)
