    Hey there! i'm planning to buy m17x with least config, but should i wait till the launch of windows 7 or grab it now? or should i wait till the launch of core i-7 on m17x if its for real :p

    any suggestions would help me :)

    I would wait... cause when you go to install windows 7 you gotta worry about installing a completely new set of drivers etc... reinstalling some or all of your programs. I would image if you waited, the resource cds will all be windows 7 drivers.
    IMHO, I would wait since you have thus far... it's only a month away. As far as i-7, it's not happening...... it's a different chipset, and they would have to put in a new motherboard, so if you wait for that, it will probably be the new M17 refresh with ATI cards
