    Need to Install Windows 7

    I have Alienware m17
    Vistal Ultimate 64 bit
    2x3870 cards
    2x500gd hard drives with Raid 0
    4gb Ram

    I tryed to Install Windows 7
    got Raid Volume Errror
    & 1 of my hard drive failed

    Now i have reinstalled everything
    with new hard drive in Raid 0
    back to factory setting
    Did not update Windows yet
    just few software auto installed when I restarted my Laptop

    What software or Drivers do i need
    before Installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit ?

    Are there any Instructions I need to follow before Installing Windows 7 ?
    eg: do i dissable Raid 0 before Installing Windows 7
    Or ...........


    Please be kind & help

    Never change your raid setup. I dont know about m17 drivers but dell or alienware should have a list somewhere of the order you need to update drivers after installing windows 7. Or maybe ask batboy. Just update to windows 7 and then update everything in the correct order.

    It's in the AW support FAQ page. just search for it.

    If you don't know how to search, here is an example:
    1. Intel chipset and sata driver
    2. OSD
    3. Wireless
    4. Graphic
    5. Sound.
    ....the rest doesn't really matter

    Get the latest one from the vendors instead of AW's.
    Only use AW's if you can't get it to work with the newer drivers.

    I have 1 issue still
    When i do my Windows update
    I am not able to update -
    AVerMedia A317 Mini-Card Hybrid Analog/ATSC

    gives me Error code 80070103
