    Needing area 51-m drivers

    Ok my gpu doesnt seem to be working and there is no audio sound. nor is there something called base systm device. I have reinstalled windows abt 40 times using different disks but it does not pick it up or seem to have it.

    i use a ati raedon 9700

    any help? would greatly appreciate if someone with an account could link me to the drivers.

    The flaver of area-51 is important, the Area-51 tag just means it's an intel cpu.
    Mine for instance is an area-51 m7700, the m7700 is the important part for drivers.

    If you're lucky and are the origional owner Armando can fix you up. If you're like me and bought it used, you're going to have a grand old time with support, as last time i checked alienware support was of the Origional-owner-or-gtfo type.


    I do have some drivers and a link to some more, but without knowing what system you have i don't know if i can help.

    problem is i bought the system on ebay 2 years ago. its an area 51 766 cyborg green.

    gpu is correct. rest not as clear, think its a diff system

    not home atm. but with the drivers ive saved to you think everything will be fine when i install them. i cant even view pictures atm on the machine!

    any idea what base system device is?

    an example of true altruism :)

    I hear its common for alot of alienware hardware to have drivers that windows doesnt pick up. sucks esp when linux picked some up that windows missed

    yea well AW is lazy and linux is open source so there is thousands of people helping ....so i hope it would work
    :D

    plus its microsoft what do you expect ? :D

    so all the drivers work?

    do you have a sd card reader in there ? i think that may be your base system device

    if you do have one then please test it. and let me know asap
