    I don't know if you noticed but Alienware changed their page for the laptops
    Alienware Laptops - Custom Gaming Laptops and Notebooks
    I found it better and you can see the differences between all models, and you can see how the laptops look with other colors (AlienFX).
    And there is new pics for all models.
    EDIT: Yes with the M11x when you change the color of alienFX the right bottom of the screen changes too, dell is bad at photoshop :q

    They still say the M17x R3 is Anodized Aluminum.

    Also, the right-most color of the slider for AlienFX doesn't work.
    When you mouse over the orange color, doesn't do anything.

    that's because the default color on the webpage is orange :p

    Try the color slider on other models than the M11x.

    Funny how they market the M17x with Optimus technology, yet the 120Hz/460M version doesn't utilize it.

    Edit: I see that they indicated that on the 3D model.

    It must be a hardware limitation as the new 3d Toshiba Qosmios also don't have optimus, but the non-3D versions do have optimus.
