    New Alienware Drivers 179.13 Out!

    Tried the 180.42 drivers on myM17X with 8800 gtx cards. Noticed a slight improvement in Crysis and Crysis Warhead game play. No freezing or stuttering. Using native resolution and maxed out game specs. GPU temps were about 2 degrees lower than the 179 drivers.

    No Blue ray. Some other games i tried did not play as well as with the 179 drivers. Next going to try the 179 drivers without the modded inf file so computer is fooled into thinking it is a 9800 driver. Blue ray might work.

    mmmm I only just read about this. Will this driver (especially the trick to make the computer think theres a 9800m GT instead of a 8800m GTX) work on Clevo systems?
