Alienware updated their site to a much cooler, sophisticated site. Is it just me or were there some really small price cuts on the m15x? 2.4GHz, 8800M GTX rig with a backlit keyboard for $2200= FTW! Do you guys think Alienware also added better casing/cooling to the m15x with the introduction of the sweet-looking Skullcap design?

Yeah I just saw that they redesigned the website, I wonder if it's just a coincidence that the re-design happened the same day Voodoopc redesigned their site.

I don't think AW will add a different cooling system to their skullcap notebooks.

@Michaels - On another thread I basically said that it looks like they just replaced the back of the screen so the quality will still be sub-par if thats the case.

same e-commerce engine/portal as dell I assume, so this is part of the integration process, they just spiced it up a bit as AW will be their high end system, but orders and perhaps customer service will be next

I like the new site and was psyched to see skullcap available but also worried cause I ordered mine on friday! I called and changed my order today, they were very nice on the phone and spoke english perfectly. Also glad that dell took over cause now AW offers financing which I used. Now they just need to extend the service to be 24/7

You've got to hand it to them, they really know how to make a very cool website. I love the new design.

Seems that us in the Uk & Ireland do not get any updates... we get after thoughts... It's a shame really becasue if they allowed Uk ordering from the .com website, they'd only have to update one of them and everyone would be happy... Ho hum
