Well bit the bullet and ordered my first Alienware, which is wierd because before I used to always say Alienware was overpriced and underperforming haha, but the M17 changed my opinion. One question I do have though is, i'm currently in Iraq, and don't have access to the phone number I put down obviously, will they try and call or do I need to call them to verify payment?

I dont think they really care and do a cross check and verify ur payment. As long as they get their payment they are fine coz you ordered it within United States.

I was thinking about upgrading the DVD drive on my M17 to a blu-ray drive. is that even possible?

You'll love your M17 btw, I haven't had a single issue with it since I got it in january and I've been very very pleased with it so far!
