    Hello my fellow Alien M17X lovers :D

    I am due to take receipt of this laptop (below) next week and I was wondering should I test/check certain components before I begin installing my software, files, games etc?

    I ask because there seems to be a few issues with new machines fresh out of the box. From reading through the forum I understand there are some;
    - wireless issues
    - dell not suppling the latest drivers
    - bios issues (drivers?)
    - under performance issues
    - etc etc

    Hopefully I wont end up with a lemon (hexed myself :eek: ) and problems are usually component specific but it would be helpful if anyone could advise on a few tests to ensure a new system is working as it should? :confused: Thanks in advance
