    I cant get my blu ray to play with the default software it came with...

    any ideas ?

    Are you getting an error?

    I know mine downloaded an update right at the beginning and that took forever for the software to complete that. After the update, it was just fine.

    Watched Iron Man with no issues on BR

    Knight, did you manually download any updates directly from the powerdvd site? It seems that the updates available at the site is not for OEM versions. You can try re-installing the software directly from the resource DVD from Alienware. It helped my issue. I hope this helps. :)
