I just got my laptop today and the last two things I did was install a driver for my video card and one for the laptop off of dell's site. After booting it back up I'm met with a black screen and that is it, I can't even eject a cd that's in the drive. I'm completely lost what do I do?

Tried it, still a black screen. The screen looks exactly the same as it is when off not even lit up a little bit.

Do you see the AW head during post? Or is it just completely black the whole time?

I wouldn't know how to I'm kinda new at this. Also looking at microsoft support my cd that's sitting in my drive might also be the problem so I'm off to search how to get that thing out since nothing obvious is working.

For anyone interested the only bios available to me was not configured for my raid and therefore dell is sending me a shiny new motherboard with the original bios and tech to make sure its installed correctly and everthing is running smoothly.

Did you try to enable Nvidia RAID in the BIOS for both SATA channels 0 and 3?
