    Hey guys,

I just reinstalled Win7 on my computer due to reason that my Dual graphics cards stopped working. Now, they wont turn on after reinstall and after the driver was downloaded from dell. Anyone know what to do?

Be sure that both Hybrid & Integrated Graphic options (in the BIOS) are set to either: Enabled or Disabled. Basically, if you want the 9400M G active with the dicrete GPUs, then set both to Enabled. If you only want the discrete GPUs active and the 9400M G not visible to the OS, then set both to disabled.

If these settings are confirmed and you are still having issues, its a driver install issue and you will need to try again. Uninstall the driver via the Programs & Features control panel, reboot and once at the desktop reboot again (this is done so the OS has loaded the Standard VGA Adapter driver on the first reboot), once the second reboot is complete and you are back at the desktop try installing again.

Remember, when installing the NV Display driver on the M17x, be sure to always have both the 9400M G and discrete GPUs enabled (Hybrid & Integrated Graphics set to enabled in BIOS).

Thanks Batboy. I tried it but it didn't work. Do anyone know how to do a full system restore without the alienrespawn 2.0? I lost it by upgrading to Windows7.

Need an expanded look... two clicks on Disk Management. What we need to see is something like (see attached)

Also, you mentioned the steps I gave did not work, but did you try uninstalling and doing a clean install of your display driver? This should've resolved your issue.
