    i will possibly getting this ... i will sell my m17 with my lid :) i will sell it and then buy the new laptop if it supports binary gfx and sart bay as i need it for college and this 2 hour battery doesn't cut it

    Yea I agree... I really like the Sager 9280... but it really isn't a laptop, I might get a smaller laptop or an Alienware for my first two years... becuase I really don't need a workstation type laptop until my Junior and Senior year.

    Yea... I just was so in love with the I7 lol, I think I will probably end up going with the 8662, or an alienware.... But if I'm already getting up into the 2000-3000 price range why not get the 9280!!! grrrr so frustrating

    So we'll just wait and see what happens with the new alienware's, I really like them, but I don't want to go to school for virtual technology and design and come in the first day with a super flashy laptop... It will probably get stolen lol

    I think that the 9280 will play any game just ducky... I mean, the GTX 280 is hardly a weak card. Aside from that the 12GB DDR3 support is great.

    yes it is but its not a true gamign laptop

    its a laptop where your sitting there done codeing on 4 different cores and your craving some Nazi zombies... hey we could play some

    thats the kind of laptop it is

    Yeah I'm going to need that kind of laptop in my junior and Senior year.. But the first two years is just basic Coding, Animation, modeling etc.
