Hey everyone. I have an Alienware Area 51 m7700 notebook and I'm having issues playing Warhammer with it. Just hanging out picking up quests and stuff I have little or no problems with frame rate, but while in a battle with alot of high graphics I go down to like 3 fps. I had a friend ask me when the last time I updated my video card driver, and i hadn't since I bought it. I have an Nvidia Geforce go 7800GTX card in it. I went to Alienware downloads section to download the newest driver, but the newest one there was from 3/06. I downloaded it and it was a better version from what I had. I tried going to Nvidia's site first, I got the most recent one there, but during the download I had an error message come up and it wouldn't complete it. At this point I don't really know what my options are. Any help is appreicated.
Thank you
Lee

Search and ask around at laptopvideo2go.com. That's a place that has highly optimized NVIDIA drivers for just about every one of their cards. If framerate is an issue for you, I'm not certain you'll find better than what's available there. It's a site you'll probably want to bookmark as you'll likely find yourself going back there again and again for driver updates.
