Hey guys, I've been following these forums for a while, and I finally received my m17 yesterday. I think my m17 has a small screen issue (pic below). The left side of the screen looks like it is being pressed in, in two areas (it has darkened areas like if you put a little pressure on it).

Is there any way that anyone can think of which could fix this problem?

(Really would hate to have to send my laptop back to alienware a couple of days after I received it)

    Thanks in advance,

I'd send the picture and a question why the laptop was shipped in this way to Alienware/Dell and have them fix it for you. Screens are just about the only things I aint touching on a laptop..

    Cyro,
Sorry to hear about this, please contact our technical support to address this matter, there seem to be an issue with the screen of your notebook and those dark spots should not be there. Please call as soon as possible and the agent will advise accordingly.

Looks like the screen has come into prolonged contact with something it shouldnt have before being fitted. As alienware-armando said you'll have to phone them up and probably send it back for 3 weeks to get it repaired.
