Trust me on this one - if you can manage it, alter the order ASAP and increase the warranty. You want more than a 1yr warranty on a Dell/AW lappie this expensive. Believe me, its worth it.

yeah just don't forget (though they will most likely remind you to) my warranties through dell have always been worth it as I keep my machines at least 3 years and always end up doing something horrible to them (on accident) or something happens to them no fault of my own. Repairs are expensive and on something so expensive its worth the extra 10% (what 300 bucks?) to insure it works for awhile. I held off for a year on my m15x and it saved me a little $$ by doing so (30-50 bucks or so) I'll likely get it on my m17 once I pay it off...if I pay it off...things not going well economically

You can but typically it is more expensive. Either way, just make sure you extend it out.
