Ok,
On the AW color scheme for the fusion (hope i got that right) program, it allows you to select colors for certain areas. (as we all know who owns one)
Well, here is my question:
Why can I only select 'black' on certain aspects? I want to make the Head (both on the case and above the keyboard) black, as well as the perimeter of the mouse pad, and the quick touches at times...
(i.e. - I want the keyboard lit and nothing else.)
Is this not something that can be done or may I have a bad install?

can't turn off those zones, afaik. you can go dark, but that isn't what you want.
like I said, AFAIK, can't do *just* kb. has to be alienhead, touchcontrols + whatever else. (Logo, pipe, touchpad, kb) -
i was worried that was the answer....pffft.
well thx.
would be nice of AW came out with an update to do this....Armando/James -
You can use my AuroraLightsFX (aka ColorWheel) to do this except the Power Button. See my AlienFX Applications guide to get the standalone application and try it.

steveninspokane John 14:6 - Only ONE Way!
try it and let me know how it works out.

it will be a week or so as i can not DL anything from the network i am on right now.
but i will let you know. -
Though I knew it will work, but tried to confirm
It really works..

It is possible, it's fairly easy. If you find where they store the theme files, and then open it up in any editor (its an xml file) then you just find which bit to edit, and then change the colour. Tried and tested.
Alternatively, here use my theme file that I edited:
Open the zip, copy the theme onto your hdd, and then use it. EnjoyAttached Files:

hey vikas, how does the thingy for matching your AlienfX colors to your wallpaper work?
-
The problem is that Lights does not give your true colors, the dark the color is the better it looks. Light colors look more or less same, especially with keyboard. -

They really should.
No Black....or am I missing something
