Since I got my M17, I've noticed that the video playback quality isn't nearly as good as my good old Dell E1505; .avi files on my 3870's are blocky when compared to the X1400 of my E1505

I've tried different media players, fiddled around with the Avivo settings and installed updated 9.1 drivers but the compression blocks remain.

Can anyone help? I know the feature is there, I just gotta wake it up somehow (although the feature was always there with the X1400 and didn't require special configuration). Anyways, it's really annoying me.

It's due to the screen resolution, the blocks are the pixels enlarged to fill the screen. Just like when you expand an image it gets pixelated.
At least thats what I think it is.
