    Noob Question about Drivers

    This may seem like a silly question, but I can use the drivers off the nvidia website for my M15x, right?

    Or do I need to use the ones from dell?

    You can use the mobility drivers off there site but not just any driver.. Hope that helps..

    So if I select geforce, mobile 200m, then that should work? I should just be able to download and install?

    Yep thats really all there is to it... You may want to uninstall the old drivers prior to the new ones..

    As quad said make yourself used to the very good habit of unistalling the old drivers before installing the new ones. Sometimes they conflict.

    you can and I did : I am using the latest nVidia 195 beta driver from their site and it works fine on my M15

    Thanks guys! Yeah I did a clean install on my machine and used the latest drivers from nvidia.

    I appreciate the support!

    BTW, my 3Dmark 06 score was 11747. Does that seem "normal" with a stock M15x with 4 gigs and the 260m?

    I don;t have my machine yet so I don't know, others have been posting their results in the Owners Thread Part 2. Past 10 pages or so.
