I have been completly enjoying my new laptop. But there is this noise I noticed it when I was scrolling through the forums. As I roll the mouse whell to scroll there is this interference you hear in the speakers. Thought maybe the Bluetooth was causing interference so turned it off and even if I hold the down key it will do it. But only if something is scrolling down the screen. If the page is bottomed out and u scroll or press down no noise. Also noticed it between movies clips at the opening of a game no video just black and sound is there video comes on can't here it anymore. Same if I'm streaming Bluetooth to my stereo no bad noise fr stereo only from laptop speakers. And the bluetooth thing is the entire time I'm steaming music. Any ideas? This normal??

Ok did some more checking and possibly I am just hearing it from the front. Sounds like its coming from under keyboard.... Possibly screen or GFX card..... I dont know but I really dont wanna be without my system. But this problem is deff very annoying.

Is it like a high pitched buzzing ? If so i've had it on a few laptops and i've always found it's usually linked to the processor, Just interference going to the audio curcuitry and what not.

It's bothering but i tend to drown it out as im usually listening to music (and stutters).

Also try with headphones on, You should still hear it but i find it harder to notice.

I've experienced this with my M17x and desktop pc even with no speakers/volume off. On my macbook pro it happens to a much lesser extent and the noise actually goes away while I scroll using the touchpad. I agree that it is annoying but I don't think it is anything to worry about.

it's probably something that is referred to as "cpu whine" and a lot of machines are affected by it - it's not their fault.. it's intel's...

take a look here, it's a little outdated but you might have the same issue

    Good luck
