    Hey all,

I was reading some posts today about the new aw18, and read that people were spending 700 to 1500 on their warranty extensions... DON'T DO IT.

This spring, a guy named Oscar (I think) helped me renew the warranty for my maxed-out m18x for 2 years complete care. My cost: $220.

So yeah. Just wanted to get that out there.

Also, anyone know if the issue with the subwoofer in the aw18 has been resolved? Or does the m18x still outperform?

    Thanks,
    Bob

They charged me 600 for a 2 year extension......... So idk where you got 200 unless you forgot to add ADP

Never heard about any problems with the subwoofer and my brothers is preforming exceptionally at the moment

The warranty is completely negotiable... don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Yeah, it was 220 for 2 yrs of xps and adp.

Nice... my last 18 had a bum sub. Hope the new one works good.

I have 6 months of warranty left. Should I renew now?

I would. Some reps waive the out of warranty renewal fee, but it never hurts to get your extension early.
