Here's a very interesting article with 7 cooling devices being tested on a 17" notebook (Asus).

I know it's kinda hardware related but, i thought that the results might help with the recent overheating issues?

7Notebook Coolers being tested by the Mad Shrimps?

I have that aspire (first one tested) and been using it for awhile for m9700. It helps maintain cool temp by alot for me so far.

I have a NC-2000 and it works great with m9750...a perfect match. No over hang like the NC-1000 which would be perfectly suited for a 15.4" laptop. Anyone interested in a NC-1000?, I have one for sale, would like to get at least $25 plus shipping

Ditto on the NC-2000. The m9750 and this thing look like they are made for each other. Does a great job on keeping my system cooler as well. i feel a constant stream of cool air coming out from under this thing.

It's interesting reading about peoples experience with Cooling. I have done some research on the net and found that the reviews seem to differ from the actual useage data....

I can't decide weather to go for the Spire or the NC2000 or Infinate?
