Ok so, I need some help with updating the video drivers on my m9750. Now, according to the Nvidia control panel my current forceware version is 167.51

My m9750 has two 8700M GTs and is running on Windows Vista 32 bit.

I went to update to the newest version through Nvidia which is 175.32.

Whenever I installed it the screen when black before I even got to the please restart your computer option. So I then proceeded to hard restart, and my computer felt really slow and laggy, in fact I couldn’t get past it and hard restarted again, and went into safe mode.

From safe mode, I used system restore and restored a point before the install and attempted it again, but this time with more patience than before.

So I started again and I actually managed to see the restart your computer option. I went to click finish button and assumed my computer was restarting. But now, it started to go black, come back, and then go black again periodically. In the mist of all this, I managed to see a driver crash bubble in the corner. I then got feed up with this and then did another system restore.

The first thing I thought of was to come to this forum since it has helped me with many problems before just by merely reading the sickys. And now for my first post, I need some help.

I’m not sure what needs to be done or what actually can be done, but I have a feeling I need to completely wipe all of the current drivers, then install the new ones.

So I would really appreciate any help I can get, and thank you for bearing with me.

I have same problem with this one !
Try the latest LV2G 177.92 (don't forget the modded .inf), and instal one card at a time : you stop it when it ask you to instal 2nd GPU, then you must reboot, instal 2nd GPU (VGA controler in tour system panel), and reboot another time after enable SLI. ;)
