Whats up with nvidia supporting every card but the 8700? Could I upgrade the drivers via somewhere like laptop2video? How much of a performance could I get and which version should I run?

175.63 is the version most run, I believe. I believe it's my version also. Or you could go to myhive and get the 175.80 beta drivers.

fyi, no notebook video card "has support" from nvidia. everyone has to get their drivers from the notebook manufacturer.
