Please do this Axman. I want to see how much of an impact CPU power has on Crysis.

Ill try and get the link working later. I tried to bump up the speed on the fsb slowly up to 333mhz, but the computer didnt like it and shut itself down. so i think around 2.85ghz may be the safe max for this cpu as far as i can tell right now. ill tinker more later.

you wont see much difference in most games you know, i once had an Engineering Sample of my CPU, some games did Benifit from the OC, and many other didnt (Generally,FPS games wont see difference)

Any increase in CPU speed with an ATI card will show an improvement. Congrats on your OC.

Hmm...I'm curious as well. However, I thought OC anything other then then extreme CPU's with multipliers would mean jacking up the FSB, which would eventually lead to heat problems on a laptop. Am I off-page here?

Software using setFSB. You would have to know the pll of your m4400 to do it, but I would not suggest it. It is not a safe way of doing it.

I used set fsb, i plan on buying an extreme cpu in the near future to get even more out of this rig, and then over clocking it.
