This is a information thread about overclocking a t9400 cpu and GPU.
pretty straight forward here just follow this guide written by fellow member E-wrecked. I figured i'd put the info here so that people could over clock and know their limits. I pushed and hit 3.2 but crashed.
guide here

is the t9400 stable? i wanted to OC my gpu's also but i didnt know if the performance with oc on an older driver was better than no oc on a new driver
-
sortaaaa i haven't bsod and i have ran 2 cpu test on 3dmark 06...what a good cpu stress test i have heard of prime
-
try out orthos and a choose to stress the cpu only
http://www.overclock.net/downloads/138142-orthos.html
watch ur temps tho -
I can't see the pictures, can you post numbers?
-
just hit 14 549 in 3d mark 06 never hit above 59c on cpu but i have my coolor i made going its crude but works
-
14.5k 3dmark06! Thats insane, is it stable?
-
im not sure how orthos works ----what is exactly stable? is it saposed to run a certain time ?
-
well i got BSod at 3.2 ghz ....
figured it was gonna happen some time... my cpu idles at 33c because of my cooler ( i put a PSU fan under the cpu directly. and some 80 mm fans under the gpu's and board
im trying for 3.15 ghz then running 3dmarks .... and orthos
2.8= stable for 5 mins
2,9= stable for 5 mins
3.0 = stable 5 mins
3.1= ERROR lol lasted 11 sec -
Try playing any games at any of those settings for extended periods (30min - 1 hour)and monitoring temps? Crysis or something?
-
wow! and i missed this thread!..
WTG mr moo!
it started blue screeening because you don't hve enough cpu voltage to run to much higher. -
lol that will take time.
I'm re writeing and uploading pics
ill try L4d and fallout 3 .......
but my temps will not reflect any one elses temps due to the 4 fans i have under there here is my room

i have a question since i have my gpu's over clocked and i am running out of voltage for my cpu .If i put my gpu's back at stock clocks will i have more to play with voltage wise ? and also the whole pci-e and pci over clock any one care to explain what i should do with that ? lower it raise it ? i want to break 15k im so close
PM with any questions -
I guess you have to higher it but it's a guess^^

PS: I am happy you found a way to beet me -
How are you overclocked, the one thread about OC'ing says we can't do that with the non-extreme processors.

setfsb program
you need to follow the guide i linked in the 3 line of the first post -
-
Impressive Moo! Keep it up, you're so close to 15k

TurbodTalon Notebook Virtuoso
Are these benchies at 1440x900, or are you running an external monitor? Unless they're at 1280x1024, they're not comparable.
-
so what did every one else score with a t9400?
