Don't forget the spiffy keyboard design. Oh, and the $500 extra you'll be paying for Dell.

Oh I was just exaggerating, just because I think Alienware is overpriced, and you can get basically the same config (Quad, 4GB ddr3, crossfire) that I'm looking at for $500+ less on XoticPC, RKComputers, and even PCMicroworks while they have their $1000 off christmas sale. And all you're really getting in return is a receipt from Dell, instead of one of these other resellers, and a spffy new keyboard. I'm a little biased though.

Dell owns Alienware, so they get some profit out of m17 sales, I think.

well looking at the base specs only .. alienware seems to be in a much better price point .. and 1650 for crossfire .. it still looks great even though the screen is 1400 .. but hey people on tight budgets still get a great rig

Actually, current Alienware prices are not nearly as overpriced as before. Their pricing is competitive now.

That's only true with this system.. and cause everyone would realize AW is overcharging seeing as the OCZ is the same notebook. They have no choice but to keep pricing affordable.

Too bad does not allow over clocking the CPU like the other OCZ resellers.
