Well I only ordered mine about 3 days ago so mine is still in production but thats okay I don't mind waiting. I'm regretting getting it in grey because black looks so slick.. Blahh

 

Did you try to have them kill it? I'm sure if you escalate it politely and explain you have changed your mind on the color and that you will reorder - they should be able to work with you. Its only been 3 days. Call sales and ask for a manager. They want you to be happy.

Agree with name... Silver isn't a bad selection at all.

 

i seen silver in person and its really nice and doesn't show finger prints like black does. its a great color, if i were to order again i would order silver.

 

I always wondered if grey attracted finger prints. So you think grey looks good? I did too when I ordered it, but black makes it look like one mean computer. I'm going to stick with grey regardless, I like the way the computer looks from the side in grey.

 

yeah the silver is awesome in person, photos don't do it any justice. yeah you won't regret it, black is such a finger print magnet, can't touch it without leaving a smudge.

 

My order status is in shipped. Before I asked on these forums I sent an email asking about how come the my tracking number isn't working. I received an email today it said my order is in transit and it will be delivered within the next 4 days "as per records", hope its true

I got the cosmic black, 780QM, 4GB 1333Mhz, 320GB, 260M, 9 cell. Can't wait

 

How many weeks ago was your initial order?

 

Ordered last Thursday the order was confirmed on the Friday. Went into production the following Monday. The status went to shipped yesterday with a tracking number that doesn't work as I said above.

According to Dell its gonna be delivered in the next four days even though my EDD is 31/03, so It might not be true.

I wouldn't mind it to be delivered on the 31/03 because I can be at home at that time

 

I ordered my third system in two weeks today. The first two were cancelled, one due to a system change and the other I cancelled to get a better deal.

Dell/alienware order support is far less than stellar. One would ask whether or not it's even accpetable. I've called them 24 times in the past two weeks, only to be hung up on or disconnected close to twenty times. If I didn't want my M15x so badly, I would have bought the next best toshiba from best buy.

Got an invoice from Dell today said the order dispatched on 17/03/2010? That was almost two days ago? And the payment date was today?

What time do you think I would expect my delivery? And the UPS number still isn't working?

 

and yet on the shipping details tab it writes:

Doesn't look as if there is a lot of people ordering the M15x. the M11x is stealing the show.

 

going to be a first time Alienware owner so i dont know what to expect.
i know basic about computers and play online games.
I ordered mine 5 days ago im expecting it on apr 2 since im going on vacation on the apr 3 i guess it was aperfect timing. =)

the thing that sucks is that i forgot to chage my wifi half mini card from dell 1510 to intel 5300. i think i accidentally skipped it and didnt notice till i check my order status and specs today. bummer. i was thinking of replacing the wifi card when i get my AW.

Got the invoice on Friday saying the payment was received and my Carrier is Interlink but why do I have UPS tracking number on order status page that doesn't work?

 

Just got an email stating my order has been shipped!! Should be here in the next couple days.

 

Well, it looks like the M15x are shipping way ahead of schedule. I ordered mine on 3/12 with the "delay causing" m260 card. It was scheduled to ship on 4-2-10. It actually shipped on 3-20-10 and will arrive on 3-26-10!

Maybe everyone is ordering the M11??

 

most orders are shipped before edd, the long edd dell gaves you is just to cover their butts just incase something runs out of stock or a problem occurs. and the website for build status is pretty much useless, its never really up to date, just wait for the email they send you when they start to ship.

 

My tracking number is working now.
Wow is coming from Netherlands and was sent to Brussels then to Barking in England then to Tamworth.

When is it going to be in Ireland
I can't wait

 

The UPS said my delivery date will be tomorrow but nobody will be at home tomorrow to sign and collect it, will they drop a notice card in my porch?

i recently was just going over my bank account and noticed that dell hadn't charged my acct yet. Just to clarify does dell charge me once they ship my m15x?

 

Yes, once they ship it they will process the charge.
