    Just thought we could get some order status' going here.

    Ordered 6/2/09
    Mine is officially in Production w/ an ESD 7/2/09.

    To get detailed info on the progress of your order (Kitting, Build, Testing, Boxing, etc). follow these steps:

    BACKDOOR to the old order status!

    1)Call 800-283-2210 = this is the DPA phone number so don't get worried

    2)Follow prompt #3

    3)Now, select business/epp selection #2

    4)Track order option #1

    5)Then do it again - track order option #1

    Unfortunately I had to reorder cause i forgot or there was some glitch with the nameplate, so i had to order it again today. Thus the EDD Is 7/8, but it is still in production so I think they will all come around the exact same time, or order of when ordered. Still pumped.
    And i ordered yesterday morning at 10am =(

    Dell uses a que that usually works well (orders are built in order of recieved).

    Dell ALWAYS puts systems 14 days out, and usually ship 7-10 early. So, barring any shortages, I would say mid-June.

    Just ordered mine today,
    Order Date: 06/03/2009
    ESD: 07/03/2009

    And wow, is it a pain to order from Canada. Dell is pretty much ripping us off, because its must cheaper to order off the American site even with the dollar exchange and taxes, by about $300 or so. And in Canada we dont get custom nameplates, just Alienware M17x. Kind of a ripoff, but im pretty sure nothing is going to change soon.

    I remember seeing shipping after or before i put in my credit card info. I actually recall seeing 3-5 days, express, and overnight all the same price(0.00$)Maybe it wasn't true, I think i clicked on it and it dissipated. But its possible I was on shrooms.

    well i dont have enough money right now to upgrade to ssd. So for like a month or so ill be using the 250GB HDD. Just didn't have enough to do it all at once. And I hear the Vertex drives are better.

    I just spoke to a Dell guy over the phone and he confirmed for me that systems will be shipping between 7-10 days from the day the order is first made.
