    OMG!!!Alienware M17X shipped!!!!!

    Hello everyone, I am so excited that I cannot control my feeling. I just saw that my Alienware M17x was shipped in the order status page!!!!. I am so happy. Ordered on 11/23/2009, estimate shipping date: 12/17/2009, shipped 12/08/2009. Moreover I ordered 512 SSD, which could delay the shipping date. I thought that it will be shipped one week after the estimate date. But I never believe that it is just shipped one week before the estimate date.

    You guys never know how it was difficult for me to order this baby on Dell USA online store. I lived in France, and I tried 4 times to make an order, but each time, they cancelled my order. Then I used Shipito. It is a USA shopping service, very cheaper, but very slow!!!!!! They took 2 days to answer my questions, so it was not possible for urgent case. Moreover they limited the amout of deposit.(1000$), so I had to make a wire transfer, but after 2 weeks, my bank told me the wire transfer failed.

    Finally I found AllAmercanBasics for the purchase. They did it quiet fast and answered all my questions smoothly. Thanks to this service, I will probably receieve my laptop before Chrismas.

    Hmm, I just answered the door and it was a delivery guy with an Alienware box. I didn't order an AW computer though! Thinking that my wife may have ordered it, I accepted delivery and then opened it up and found an M17x with specs EXACTLY like yours. Strange coincidence, huh? :)

    Seriously, congratulations on having yours shipped. I hope it turns out to be the beast that it sure looks like on paper!

    No seriously I am quiet suprised by Dell. I really didn't think that It would come so fast. Anyway, so much the better! It was really painful when I wait for its arrival.

    No but there was an Alienware advert that said something like "All resistance is futile!", "No Mercy" (Old advert) and "Give up", There's also the "All powerful" which we all know. :) :rolleyes:
