well there are different versions of OSDManager for XP and Vista, so maybe the Vista version is installed on your XP computer? Did you reinstall OSDManager by any chance?

Ok no problem go to Alienware's website click support and enter myhive (you may have to setup your account) Once your in my hive click on the invoice number and then click 1 | AREA-51 M15X 15" WXGA+ W/CAM SIL-RIP-PNT. then look for On-Screen Display Utility 00019 and then download driver. Make sure you download the 00019 and not 00020 because the 20 is for Vista let us know if you have problems. The On-Screen Display Utility 00019 should also be on your drivers cd included with your pc. With your WIFI make sure you check and make sure that XP is set to connect to the wireless network automatically if you need help with that let me know.

Coincidentally enough, there are also two different sets of Intel wireless drivers for XP and Vista. Do you know if the ones installed are the correct ones for XP?

TacoMenace21: Yes .. still up and down (and I'm working for a compagny in Boston through a Citrix Access from Paris ... a nightmare ... )

    GRB: Unfortunately not ...

Do you think re-installing the driver will help ?
