When I'm using my m15x on the internet and typing a lot, usually in facebook or searching something. I find the displayed typeletters lag significantly behind what I'm actually typing -kind of like when you're texting really fast using t9.

Anyone else have this problem? Is it just a java thing (I don't really know what facebook is running on)?

Whilst typing in this forum box, it's completely sound.

I'm confused. How does that differ from the issue of keyboard lag?

If I'm not mistaken, the keyboard lag is software issue not a hardware issue, so it has nothing to do with design, right??

I know what you're talking about, OP. To everyone else, he's basically experiencing a sort of "trailing" input. What he types shows up a second or so after he's actually typed it. Same as you, I've had this happen in some text fields, yet it worked perfectly fine in others.

I'm honestly at a loss for why it happens, but it's not the keyboard lag known for the M15X. That's more along the lines of "Gogle" where his is Google appearing a second after he types it.

    ..Right? Lol.

Check your task manager whenever it occurs. Anything eating away at your processor?

the only cons about the design of m15x is the upper chasis if they switch to different type of plastic I might be more happy about that.

tekian so true, thats exactly whats going on.
    nothings really eating anything up.

and compared to the dell in the link,
i'm not experiencing whole screen lag. It's just the text input
