    Found out the hard way that fed ex ground is a separate company from fed ex, and subcontracts everything out. The drivers are not considered employees in 47 states and are contractors who pay for their own vehicle and expenses, and own their route. As a result if they do not have a sufficient amount of deliveries near your area they will mark as attempted delivery while obviously not even being in the general vicinity. 3 days off from work so far while dell and fed ex keep reassuring me it'll be there next day :rolleyes: Fed ex doesn't care and if i want dell to ship another one i'll have to wait again god knows how long:thumbsup:

    Sooo yeah imo get them to give you guaranteed next day shipping and make sure its not via Fed Ex Ground. A simple search on google on the topic will make sure you do :D

    Dell is the one that paid for shipping. You should complain to Dell, and let them take it out on Fedx ground. Dell is Fedx's customer, not you.
