So has any OC'd there mug to 4ghtz yet?![]()
-
-
you mean 24floz, right? at any rate, i'm pretty worried about the future upgradability - extra handles etc.
-
Yeah, eventually it'll become so bulky that you'll need 2 handles instead of 1-- but it's really hard to predict if AW will do that.
I would be personally scared to OC the AW mug, since that would most likely cause the mug to overheat and ultimately downclock when it reaches threshold. I'm sure nobody, including me, will want that. ): -
not to mention potentially disastrous cache overflows
-
you're all crazy if you think you can OC that mug. the cooling system is totally not good enough.
and if you think AW is going to release a new bios to fix the issue... don't hold your breath! there's a lot more people with m15x's and look at how long they had to wait! -
The latency, it's doing my head in. Everytime I take a sip, I have to wait for it too seep into my mouth, I wish AW would release a fix for this!
-
hey guys, check my hive a new bios x38 was released for the mug. It implements in alienFX.
-
excuse my noobitiy ,but what is mug ?
can somebody confirm whats new in X38 bios ? -

That's the mug they'rea talking about dexxe.
As Jelly Beans said x38 implements AlienFX on it. Probably around the handle area and the logo. Hopefully it doesn't change the color of your drink -
..and hopefully, we don't get people to think that it actually does have AlienFX.
-
what.! its a mug like a cup?!
then how the hell are gonna OC a mug!?
you fooling me right? -
We occasionally joke about the mug so don't take any of these comments seriously, haha.
-
If I took a pottery class in my school I would make a 24oz mug with a alienhead coming out of it and then put lights inside of it. Hmm... maybe a project to do... just maybe...
-
Hey, if your idea does go global, I'll be the first one in line. haha.
-
Niice assuming AW doesn't sue me first
. Anyways I'm sitting here with a regular mug drinking tea and realized that 24oz of tea might involve like 3 tea bags.
-
That's okay. I occasionally use a 32oz mug (a giant mug I got from Disneyland) for Coffee to spare myself from refilling a normal sized cup 4 times. Compared to that, a 24 oz isn't too bad.
-
LOL!!!!
Im entertained!!!! -
this is not a laughing matter... that cup might have serious handle cracking issues... especially if you OC it... the added stress from the higher weight could wreak havoc on the handle.
-
You can expect better results if you use a good compression algorithm for your drink. I have found that I can easily fit 8 shots of espresso in my mug, which is the equivalent of as many cups of coffee minus the redundant water data that is used as a carrier for the caffeine.
-
the alienware mug unfortunatley i find to be overpriced and not up to date with new mug tech. I would recommend purshasing a sager mug off of xoticpc instead and save a few extra bucks. this way you can purchase a premium drink to put in your premium mug.

Does anyone know where I can find the 64 bit drivers for my mug?
Thanx in advance. -
I am trying to update my handle drivers of my mug but I couldn't find any in MyHive. I searched at MugHandle2Go.com but I am not sure I found the right one's. What do you guys think of 110.22 drivers? Will it make my mug handle my coffee "firmly" every morning?
BTW, do all your mugs get too hot when you pour hot coffee/tea in it? I am afraid mine has overheating issues... -
I just had a BSOD on my mug today. ;___;

Big Spill of Drink?

Bad spill over desk?
-
Yeah, though it wasn't too bad. I was able to clean it up fairly quick and fix myself a new cup of coffee.

I'm impressed, a thread for Mugs...
I have found that my mug has DDR...
Double Drip Rate...
It have also tried experimenting with GPU benchmarking.
Gulps Per Unit, to see what the containment threshold vs output speed... Let's just say that if you go too fast, your cache will leak and you will need to do some serious defragging afterwards ha ha ha

Vikas, since you gave us that great x64 guide for the m15x, I wont even mention anything about how you could of put all that into just one post.
-
Does the update command center have facial recognition? I'd like to stop my wife from logging onto my mug and stealing my coffee.

I have found the Auto-Tracking feature is very useful.
The ability to find your mug has found it's way into the dishwasher is great, even when you're not entirely sure where you left it.... magically it appears, clean and ready to benchmark...
