My space bar squeaks every time i hit it. ( 2 week old m17x)
Should i be mad or am i just nitpicking?
Is it happening for anyone else?
-
Guess it depends how noticeable it is. Has not happened to me. Call Dell and ask for a new one.
-
New computer or new keyboard?
-
no your not nitpicking at all considering the money that you just spent.
Its a good oportunity to check out Dell support and see how well they can resolve the issue. These things happen and I suspect they shall put it right for you without issue.
Let us know how it goes. -
Keyborad mate
-
new keyboard.
-
Are keyboards on these things hot swappable? lol
-
Hot swappable? As in you want to keep the system on? Not recommended.
-
should be easy to change (when off), if your not up to it, get a dell tech to come to your house and replace it for you
-
Alright. Yea. My mousepad was also messed out from when i took it out of the box with the computer.
I contacted alienware about this mousepad issue and they havent done anything. I guess ill resend the email.

-

-
Will WD-40 mess it up? lol
Whats up? -
has the policies changed since dell took over alienware for the newer computers? I purchased my m9750 in october of 2007 and alienware has 24/7 phone support/pick up from house/alien chat/alien connect and more. Have they changed their excellent customer service since dell took over ,because i'll tell you the 3 year warranty I purchased was the best thing i've ever done. -
People's experience with CS with vary. I personally felt more comfortable with Dell taking over then going directly through AW. Plus those Dell warranties are transferrable.
One little nitpicking moment.
