    Online Armor 4.5 redcreases my graphics performance m17x and m11x

    I installed online armor 4.5 free on windows 7 - 64 bit and experienced the results below. I ended up reformating thinking something had messed up but it turned out to the firewall/security program "online armor".

    A. m17XR2 - playing Unreal 3

    ~60 FPS - not installed
    ~30 FPS - installed, not running
    ~15 FPS - installed, running

    B. m11xR2 - comparable results to above

    Just wanted to share in case it saved someone some time.

    I only brought it up specifically to point out the degradation in the graphics performance on my m11xR2 and m17xR2. Anyone wanting to compare security software please go to security and anti-virus software forum.

    Just as an update, I'm now running zonealarm and I am not experiencing any graphics degradation. FPS is at the expected and normal value of 60 with it on, off, and not installed.
