    Only 3.75 GB of RAM usable?

    Hi, quick question...

    I'm on Windows 7 on the new M17x, and I have 4GB 1333MHz RAM (the stock stuff), yet under the system panel (windows+pause/break, or control panel-->system) it says: "Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.75 GB usable)"

    Anyone know why that is, or what I can do to fix it? Thanks! :)

    Oh, and just to clarify, I am running 64-bit. This is what it looks like:

    Are you running a 64-bit operating system?
    Is your video card(s) sharing any system memory?

    usually thegraphic card takes that memory, For me, if I disabled my integrated graphics and left on my 260 then it shows full ram

    you have your integrated graphics enabled. It uses up 250MB of RAM.
