Order Area 51m abroad, let it ship to India?

Hey all, very specific problem here.

I have some potentially good deals for a new Alienware Area 51m from online-shops in Germany that deliver in EU.

I'm wondering in general if I can ask shops if they can make exceptions or if I can do something that enables them to send it to my current location, which is Calcutta (been studying here for 2 years).

I know it sounds like a pain in the ass, but the deal is sweet, so basically I'm asking if anyone has experience with potential problems with customs clearance, if you want to order a PC/ Laptop over international borders. I've heard that more complex electronics can potentially run into some funky problems.

Use a re shipping company, Search for re shipping germany and choose one, then you have a german address to use on ebay and the reshipping company will send it to you.

German vendors lots of times wont even ship to outside germany, much less to india..

 

How "sweet" is that deal? Is it a brand new or used one?

From my experience, German price level usually is above most of the rest of the world's.

Wanna post the www address of that shop? So it can be checked for you, to any potential fraud protection. You have some online Shops every now and then over here, which are opened and closed quickly, offer very low prices but just wanna get your $$$s

 

This isn't directly relevant to your shipping problem, I think at least, but you might want to make sure your Bluetooth hardware is from the right company - mine wouldn't work in India because the frequency it used was restricted by law, rf. https://www.certification-india.com/en/wpc/what-is-wpc/ .
That's another way you can ensure you've got a proper deal, because if they are a serious company, they will be able to request that kind of information from the supplier of the hardware.
