Order Status Page

Has anyone else noticed that it is extremly slow, or is it just slow for me? and after about 10 minutes it finally goes to the screen, and than tells me I'm back in Phase 1... Anyone else?

 

To be honest, the entire website felt slow today. Was there to grab some drivers for certain people and it was just really slow.

If you want to know your order status, I'd say give Roswell a call. You get a more accurate response that way anyway.

 

it did the same to me for a long time...for like 30 mins or so.

 

It's not just you. I checked it during lunch, and it seemed to be ok then.

Then a few hours later I checked it again, and it was extremely slow. But I was surprised to find that I had moved from phase 5 to phase 8 in that short amount of time.

I'm glad I'd been browsing this site and read up about the order-status page not being "real-time", or else I would have been very worried about the lack of time spent checking for errors and bugs.

 

the site is fast for me, just once i click submit, it takes forever, ryu, what phase did it say you were at?

 

Well, I just checked again...

I'm back to phase 1, apparently.

Something is obviously wrong over there. Hopefully it'll get resolved soon.

 

steve: just updated to phase 6 today.... YAY!!!

 

Nice Ryu, Hope that when the site is working again I'll be better than Phase 4.

Friday I went to Phase 4

 

im trying to remember when i ordered mine...lol
im looking thru emails right now.
they have issues with thier pages - they sent me an account setup, but it will not let me in to there either...
and the status page is acting up again....

 

I use Gmail, and always put a Star next to emails of importance.

29 Aug...with the wait time for the 8800 - est. ship arrival or date is 12 Sep...

 

Yea, and when I ordered, the est was also the 12th, Probably becasue I had no delay for the 8800, it was already in. hopefully you dont get yours to long before I get mine

i dont know how many times ive posted this but here goes again.

dont believe the phase page as it has not given a true reading for months and months. this was also confirmed by the AW reps on here.

if you are worried about your order contact AW Armando or James or ring CS.

 

yay....my AW arived today....playing with the unit right now, will get info soon....

 

mine has parts on backorder, they say it wont ship till next week.

i peed myself when i opened and turned it on....more so when i installed the 4G of memory i ordered....nice.....

Hey let me know how those 2 diff rams work, i just orderd some crucial 800 last night from newegg, along with a hdd and laptop cooler.

Yeah I will, not sure when though, school starts again on the 22nd, and I won't get it till after that.... bah.

i will get reviews soon. while i am having fun with it right now, i have a bad chest cold and will be crashing soon...
but thus far, the installed RAM is awesome. I used the OCZ 800 4G pack...i have the Gskill as well, but think i will keep that as backup just in case.
initial impressions with the unit are pluses all around.
unit feels solid to me, screen is awesome...bit of creaking, but nothing bothersome to me. keyboard is nice to the touch....

anyway..just a light review. I will get more involved in the next several days....pro go for monday night or tuesday, as i will be getting accessories for the unit...

I just ordered the m15x as well - the est. ship date is 1st oct :O

still on phase 1 - hoping that it'll change on monday

 

it will change to phase 4 on monday, and than be phase 4 forever.

Hi cinek and welcome to the forum.
it can take a couple of days to sort the finance side of things out but once the money clears it should start moving.
the only warning i will give you is not to rely on the phase page as its been faulty for months and it will drive you crazy.
if you have any concern just give AW a call.

Ryujin you lucky guy. You ordered almost 2 weeks after me and received your machine a week before I might get mine. This makes me want to cancel my order right now.

Oh grats though

 

it depends what spec you both have ordered. is could be done and they are still waiting for parts for your system.
if both your spec were the same then i would be really pissed as well.
on the phone first thing tomorrow morning.

 

The 8800 was the only part that held up my system. They told me it would ship Tuesday. I told them if I didn't have tracking info by the end of the business day Tuesday I would be canceling the order. 33 days is beyond where I draw a line in the sand.

AW clearly has supply chain problems. In addition to other things. I haven't even got my m15x yet and I am already starting to regret the purchase.

me and milcs are in the same boat as we are both waiting for a Kobalt Nexus which eta was friday so hopefully this week we will all be happy.

 

You're so far in the game though. I'd just go for broke at this point.
