Ordered a m15x with the Titanium Account and have some Questions

Ok about a week and a half ago i ordered a m15x laptop from alienware with the titanium account i got approved for around 4000 credit and ordered right away. I never got a confirmation e mail after the order so i could not check my order status online but i did call them and they did have the order in the database but they wouldnt let me do anything cause they said it was locked and pending verification he then transfered me to the verification department and they would not let me verify over the phone but they said they would send me a letter in the mail in 7-10 days but wouldnt tell me what the letter would contain. Yesterday i did get the actual AW credit card in the mail.

Can anyone tell me whats going on i did some research my self and i see a bunch of different cases with people going threw the same thing and never getting there verification email or they try to verify over the phone and they give all the right information but they still dont verify.

I also read a view things that i have to wait for some paperwork to come in the mail and i have to sign it and return it then i will be able to go to the next phase.

 

I personally didn't have to wait for any paperwork in the mail, nor did I have to sign anything to get to the next phase. The verification might take some time, but I'm sure the verification is done with AW and the information you've provided them (ex. Social Security Number, Name, Address, etc.) I think they do most of the work.

The only things you should get in the mail would be the card (not to be used as an actual credit card, by the way-- it's just used as reference) and a little pamphlet containing general information about the card and the Alienware Titanium Account services. I don't think you get a verification email though.

 

How long did it take you to get everything done?

 

Well, 4-5 minutes to fill out the initial paperwork. 1-2 weeks to get past phase 2. It wasn't too long to get verified.

 

Thanks im not that worried anymore im gonna call tommrow to see whats going on

 

update: I called today to see if anything changed on the status of my order and they told me i was still held up in verification so i called dell financial services verification department and they tell me i need further verification so i give them all the right information on the phone and they tell me i still do not verify and will be getting a letter mailed to me with further instructions and something about identity theft.

Has anyone ever gotten this letter?
