Lunar Silver i was going to order space black.
It is in Production now.....
what should i do?

 

Better to call now and get what you want, than wait until it arrives and risk not being allowed to swap out colors.

i personally really recommend the color silver.
if you really wanna change, you def can. call order modification dept or even customer care and they will be able to change the color. im pretty sure that the price is gonna be the same

BUT i can guarantee you that dell has to cancel your current order and proceed with a new one. so all the waiting you did is wasted.

if i were you, i would really stick with the silver one. better color, less waiting.

Just out of curiosity, how do you just "order the wrong color"? And yeah, as Dellienware said, they'll have to cancel your order and place a new one, so more waiting. I love the space black on my M15x, but that's just my opinion

 

I think i will just go for the silver , they have to cancel my order and reorder again... sigh

get what you want bro, you will be living with it for awhile. but silver is really nice in person. i would go silver if i had the chance. also with silver you get less finger prints.

 

Yeah I would go silver as well. I have a black one and my next one with 5870's will be Lunar Silver for sure.

 

Get what you want because you'll kick yourself afterward if you don't like the color. I mean this is really personal preference so I think it's stupid to listen anyone but yourself...obviously you wanted black for a reason.

yeah google for pics or web surf to find more pics on colors.

i can tell you one thing for sure that the silver color at AW website is VERY misleading. it is much much darker color in reality.

It's an expensive system and you don't want anything to take away from your satisfaction. If that means getting cancel/reorder, I would do it. I'd be kinda bummed if it showed up and wasn't exactly what I wanted.

 

I did the opposite with my original M17x; I wanted silver but ordered black. I suppose if I were living in the USA, I would have sent it back. But, being in Iraq, I decided it was not worth it, so I just learned to live with it.

You are going to have to decide if the color is enough an issue to return and reorder.

Kind of good I got black after all, my stepdaughter, who will "inherit" my old M17x prefers black. In the meantime, I went with red for my new one.
