    Should I upgrade with them?

I also thinking if to get a m17x or m18x

    My m17x config:

All upgrades by HID are not covered by the Dell warrenty...think about that.
So your SSD/HDD/RAM/optical drive is not covered in case of defect.
Skip the screen protector it wont help and will make the screen look fuzzy.

Ordered my first R3 with them, no problem.

When you import it from the US you need to pay tax think about that to. What is your location?

    Israel.

I am still thinking about config. I know that my SSD/HDD/RAM/optical drive , the question might be is it worth it. and what are the chances that they will fail?
I never had a optical drive fail, nor Ram only HDD

    Edit:
is it worth taking the 1866mhz kingstone hyperX or its not worth it?

I would buy the system as stock as possible and upgrade everything myself.

How much does that system cost in Israel?

You can use MyUS, it's a mail forwarding company station in US and they mail it to almost everywhere in the world.

MyUS - US Mail Forwarding, International Shipping

Although it cost quite a lot, because the rate is depend on the weight, so the heavier the thing you want to forward, the more expensive it will cost you, I never use it for electronic though, but I used to use it for when I order a pair of shoes and forward back to my country, and the service is good, the ETA is quite accurate (also depending on the Custom).

So why dont you just order it from Dell US and use the mail forwarding service to Israel? Since that website is also locate in US, why not just buy directly from US, and plus in Dell US you get to customize to whatever upgrade you like.

And also you're not sure if it safe or not, but if you get it from Dell, at least you know it is genuinely from Alienware.

I would bet money that HID evolution is safe, after all i wouldn't have ordered from them if they weren't. Search around there are plenty of positive reviews, they have just sent my new m17 via usmail to england so i should receive that in next tuesday/wednesday :)

well, since the TAX from dell is super high including the Israel TAX it jumps to 3500 without the RAM ,SSD ,BLU RAY. Unlike HIDevolotion that its much less about 3900 after TAX and Shipping, and thats after the 15% discount from dell..without it , its worse than HID. If i want the m18x...than dell is no place to go unless they offer discount.

anyone knows a dell rep worth talking to in the US?(please send me the 7 digit code or somthing) any help will do !thanks!

I used HIDEvo, although I have not recieved the machine yet, their service was GREAT.
They even call you if there is an issue, I didn't have one, although I did call them to find out if my machine had been built. They were very polite and willing to help. I'll post more info when it arrives tomorrow

PS: I live in Australia, but because Australia costs $600 more, I ordered from HIDEVO

HIDEvolution were fantastic for me. I ordered my M17xR3 with the 580M, the day before the 6990M was released. So I got in contact with them the next day and they talked me through re-ordering with the 6990M instead, and refunded the difference into my PayPal account right there and then.
They received it from Dell within about 2 weeks, then sent it on from the US on a Thursday and it was at my doorstep in Australia on Monday morning, avoiding any income taxes and in perfect condition. Absolutely superb.

HIDEvolution is an excellent company to deal with. Many users on these boards have used it and praise both their customer and ordering service.

Ordered through Hidevo about a week ago for a M14X to get here to NZ. Even with Customs taxes, will save almost $1000 NZD.

Got to check tomorrow morning that they've put the order through to Dell and how that's going..

I have bought two AW systems from Hidevolution. The overall time from ordering to being received here in Norway was pretty fast. And the service is excellent.

Will be ordering more from them in the future.
